I’ve been wanting to start blogging again for a good while now. I’m not exactly sure what held me up aside from the general lack of motivation. There were a lot of steps involved in dusting off my old wordpress installation and upgrading it to the latest version. I also spent a lot of time backing up my old posts and storing them in something like five different places (Google Docs, a couple of harddrives, and importing them into a hosted wordpress blog and changing them all to private).

Well, the countdown begins today. I’m getting MySQL on my webhost upgraded, upgrading wordpress, and I should be ready to take the axe to all my old content and start from scratch. Should be fun. wish me luck.
